GUIDELINES SUBMISSION:

- International movies and documentary with various spoken language are welcomed, but must be added with English subtitles or dubbed.
- Non-English songs must be translated into English.
- Please email the link to your film and additional information (if available) to the Festival.

 

CATEGORIES:

FEATURE FILM
Narrative film with running time of 60 minutes or more.

SHORT FILM
Films that do not exceed 59 minutes in length, including credits.

DOCUMENTARY
Documentary film with any duration, but not exceed 120 minutes.

SCRIPT-WRITING
All scripts must be sent in .pdf format. All genres are allowed, and maximum page is 150 pages.

PHOTOGRAPHY (images)
Attach your biography and CV when you submit your photo, a brief background about the photo you submit, and its genre. Each submitter can only submit two photos.
Photography genres: aerial, architectural, candid, documentary, fashion, food, landscape, night-long exposure, photojournalism, conceptual/fine art photography, portraiture, sport, street, war, and wildlife photography.
Photos can be color or black and white.

MUSIC VIDEO
Music video from all genres.

This agreement pertains to all work/s submitted to the Festivals through Film Festivals Alliance (FFA):

By submitting your film/s or screenplay or music video or photo/s to the Festivals through Film Festivals Alliance, you are agreeing to all TERMS AND CONDITIONS below in full.

1. Submitters are at the age of 18 or above as at the deadline of submitting the application.
2. Submitters are legally eligible to submit the work/s. Submitters must have all rights secured before submitting.
3. The competition is open for all.
4. The submitter guarantee that all rights and releases have been legally secured, including music rights, songs, etc and the submitter releases the Festival and all its member from any legal action whatsoever.
5. A. E-mail the Festival, the link to your film.
B. If filmmaker wish to screen his/her film, 2 DVD PAL and 1 (one) blu-ray (optional) or DCP, must be sent. Mark case and DVD, with the title, length, and director's name. Please mark your film with "No Commercial Value - For Cultural Purposes Only" either on the envelope and the shipping invoices. Although every possible care will be taken with DVDs while in our possession, however, we cannot accept responsibility for unforeseen loss, stolen, or damage of entries. Please do not send originals. Te Festivals do not receive downloads of any kind.
6. All transportation/shipping costs (including customs clearance) to Jakarta, plus fees for insurance while in transit, must be borne by the participants (please write: For Cultural Purposes only - Not for commercial use). The Festival Director reserves the right to refuse any shipment involving unpaid costs.
7. All submissions should be sent pre-paid.
8. The Festivals will not return your screening and exhibition copies.
9. All submission fees are non-refundable.
10. All selection committees' and juries' decisions are finals.
11. Only producers or directors can receive the physical awards at the Awards Ceremonies.
12. Regardless of the Prize and winning status, winning filmmakers who can't attend the Awards Ceremony, will only receive laurels.
13. The Festivals have the right to disqualify a winning film for any reasons, without having to explain the reasons to the submitter.
14. Submission of an entry gives the Festivals and or FFA permission to have accepted work exhibited, photographed, locally telecast, and reproduced either in part or whole, for educational or publicity purposes. Filmmakers can request in writing that their material should not be used for such purposes after the Festival.
15. The Festivals do not pay any screening fees. Not all winning films will be screened. The festivals and or FFA have the full right to select the winning films to be screened.
16. Festivals Directors may deny participation to any film unable to meet the technical requirements for a public screening of good quality.
17. Festivals Management and or FFA reserves the right to make changes in the profile of the Festivals if it becomes necessary to do so due to circumstances beyond their control.
18. All filmmakers/submitters are expected to keep communications with Film Festivals Alliance and the Festivals professional and in good taste. Failure to do so may result in disqualification at any point in the adjudication process, including the nullification of Official Selection status or nominations. That stated, the Festivals and or FFA will only communicate with the person who submitted his/her film to the Festival/s, and that Festival/s should not be expected to communicate with any other persons.
19. The submitter/filmmaker also acknowledges that remediation of any sort will be limited to a refund of their submission fees.
20. The festivals and or FFA have the right to work with any institution and partner festivals for all kind of cooperation, including joint events or promotions.
21. The Festivals and or FFA reserve the right to make any necessary changes in regulations or scheduling.
22. Films could be from any year.
23. All disputes in respect of any matter relating to the Festivals and or FFA shall be subjected to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in North Jakarta. Any dispute arising as a result of submission to the Festivals and or FFA will have a recourse limited to the lesser of either the submission fee paid or the cost of correcting the issue.

By submitting to the Festivals through FFA, submitters/filmmakers:
- indicate that they have read, understand, agree with, and will comply all of the Terms and Condition above, and accept all of the terms and conditions herein, in their entirety, without modification.
- agree to indemnify us and hold us and our employees, owners, affiliates, and partners harmless from all claims and liability associated with your participation or entry to the Festival.
